Car Solutions Pre-Purchase Inspection Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms carefully. Booking a Pre-Purchase Inspection with Car Solutions online indicates that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

Inspection Duration: A Pre-Purchase Inspection takes approximately 75 minutes.

Inspection Location:

At Car Solutions Site: Your vehicle must be available at the specified location 10 minutes before the inspection time.
Mobile Inspection: Booking times may vary due to travel and traffic delays.
Report Provision: The Pre-Purchase Inspection report is provided by Car Solutions and is intended for the Report Owner named on the report. Car Solutions is under no obligation to supply information or copies of the report to a third party. However, Car Solutions reserves the right to disclose information to a third party on any potential safety issues identified during the inspection.

Inspection Scope:

The Pre-Purchase Inspection is based on an external examination of components. Due to time and cost constraints, dismantling component assemblies to measure internal parts is not feasible. Components are evaluated based on factors such as noise, operation, and performance during a road test.
The report only relates to the condition of the vehicle at the time of inspection. Vehicle condition can change due to normal wear and tear, driver abuse, neglect, collision damage, or deterioration of internal components that cannot be inspected.
Limitations: The Pre-Purchase Inspection report will not identify:

Hidden defects
Intermittent problems
Problems that become apparent after the inspection
Problems that cannot be identified through a visual inspection or without dismantling parts of the vehicle
Responsibility: Provided the inspector has acted with reasonable care and skill, Car Solutions is not responsible for any defects or problems with the vehicle that are not identified or identifiable during the inspection.

Battery Testing:

The 12v battery and alternator are tested and assessed using both an electronic tester and visual examination. The inspector may not always confirm if the 12v battery fitted is of a suitable type and specification for the vehicle. The battery will be tested according to its type and specification, where possible, without disassembly of components.
The battery test is strictly limited to the 12v battery system and does not include any systems above 12v, such as those in electric and hybrid vehicles unless added to the booking and additional fee paid.

Road Test:

As part of the inspection, a limited road test will be performed up to 50 km/h unless otherwise stated in the report. The road test will only be conducted if the vehicle is in roadworthy condition and meets all legal requirements.
Document Review:

Any documents listed in the Pre-Purchase Inspection report, such as the vehicle manual, maintenance records, damage reports, and repair records, are referenced only to indicate their availability. These documents may come from external third parties, and Car Solutions does not review them. Car Solutions is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of any information in these documents.
